SUBJECT: TPIA Request — Faith Marie Bannert Employment Records
A Texas Public Information Act request was submitted to Matagorda County for employment records related to Faith Marie Bannert, who held a Temporary Jailer License and worked as a Jailer from December 6, 2023 through March 19, 2024.

Fortenberry transmitted a partial production along with an internal forwarded email chain showing how the records were gathered. The Sheriff’s Office confirmed Bannert’s employment dates of December 6, 2023 through March 19, 2024. The internal chain indicated no disciplinary, misconduct, use-of-force, or internal investigation records were located. Fortenberry noted the Human Resources department had not yet responded and that a supplemental production is anticipated.
