Re: Public Information Request — Employment Records, Faith Marie Bannert

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, Tex. Gov’t Code Chapter 552, I hereby request the following public records pertaining to Faith Marie Bannert, who served as a Jailer at the Colorado County Sheriff’s Office from February 14, 2025 through February 7, 2026 under a Temporary Jailer License:

  1. Job title, classification, and employment dates
  2. Reason for separation or termination
  3. All formal disciplinary records, reprimands, suspensions, or termination proceedings
  4. All use of force reports authored by or involving this individual
  5. Any internal affairs or misconduct investigations
  6. All incident reports authored by or involving this individual on January 19, 2026

I am not requesting and ask that the following be redacted if incidentally present: date of birth, Social Security number, home address, personal email address, and personally owned telephone numbers.

I am specifically not requesting medical records, personal financial information, or home contact information, as I recognize those may be protected under § 552.102 or § 552.117.

Pursuant to § 552.267, I request a waiver of all fees as disclosure serves the public interest.

Please provide records in electronic format. If any portion is withheld, please submit to the Attorney General for a ruling pursuant to § 552.301.
