And another accused… WTH?🚨Volleyball Coach Arrested in Bexar County Student-Educator Relationship Case🚨 Breann Reese Halcumb, 33, of Carthage, Texas, was arrested Monday by the Carthage Police Department in East Texas on a warrant out of Bexar County after deputies investigated a reported improper relationship between an educator and a student in the San Antonio area. According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched May 28 after a school administrator was informed by the student’s parents about alleged teacher misconduct. The investigation involved Randolph High School in Universal City, where Halcumb was identified as a volleyball coach. BCSO said investigators learned Halcumb and the student, who had recently graduated, were allegedly spending time together outside of school hours, including at school events. During the investigation, deputies also discovered communications between the two that they said showed conversations indicating an “intimate relationship.” Authorities said investigators found no evidence of sexual conduct between Halcumb and the student. However, BCSO said the messages appeared to show Halcumb preparing the student for potential questioning and asking the student not to speak with anyone about their relationship. An arrest warrant was issued for Halcumb on a charge of improper relationship between educator and student, a second-degree felony. After her arrest Monday in Panola County, she was transported Tuesday and turned over to the custody of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. Bexar County jail records show Halcumb was booked June 1 and released June 2. #TheHawksEye #Texas #BexarCounty #PanolaCounty #UniversalCityTX
