Maybe the Weimar, TX City Council has competition… Some people seem to think the World is only as big as the space their ego occupies. Meanwhile their intellect is bringing up the rear. We really do have a problem with far too many of these little gangs of rogue servants.We made it home safely. Ladies and gentlemen, what i witnessed tonight in the City of Trinidad Tx City Hall was the most blatant and awe-inspiring (in a bad way) display of abuse of power, hubris, and government overreach I’ve ever even heard of outside of Athens, Tennessee, in 1945. What happened tonight should have shocked the conscience of everyone watching. What was said should have caused the ears of all listening to melt. I have never seen such willful acts of defiance to the rule of law and respect for constitutional principles of governance. We will be immediately filing for ex parte injunctive relief for our client, Judge Bivens, to protect her property interests and rights to employment. We will also be filing more criminal charges against certain government individuals responsible. Every lawyer in attendance and the mayor begged city council members to follow the law and they still ignored us. I’m beside myself wondering if it was a dream based on the sheer audacity of what the city council did. Meanwhile, the police chief begins his vacation tomorrow after a mere 6 months on the job after starting a shitshow.
